As guitarists need nails in order to play fingerstyle to a certain level of expression, often times the nails break while playing, in particular if playing a steel string guitar.
So most guitar players solve the problem by cutting nail shaped plastic and glueing it on their natural nails or gel acrylics put on at a nail salon and other methods involving the use of chemicals.
Besides the time, effort and continuous maintenance, another problem is that all super glues used and other chemicals are not health friendly for the nail, skin and when we breathe the fume they emanate while working with it fixing the nail,
besides the moisture and dirt that accumulates between the nails (fake and real) when the glued plastic begins to lose its stickiness can cause infections and nail fungus and that’s what I got as I used to glue plastic on my nails.

My nails got very sick and weak. It was late August 2017 and I went to a skin doctor who prescribed me some medicinal cream and strongly advised me to stop gluing plastic on my nails.
When I went to the pharmacy to get the product prescribed, the pharmacist also gave me a glove to protect the cream on my fingertips.
I went home, I put the cream, wore the glove and I thought that I wouldn’t be able to play fingerstyle guitar anymore as I used to and that was too bad for me! Then I took the guitar and started playing while wearing that glove and although the sound was muffled and was nothing compared to when I had artificial nails, that glove had me thinking and that’s when I got inspired!

So motivated by my desperate will of getting back to my fingerstyle playing as I used to do, after hundreds of prototypes I finally made one that fits all styles of music also to a virtuoso level!
Having nails problems is common among fingerstyle guitarists, for those who use fake nails some won't have big issues, some guitarists will occasionally notice a nail or two turning green or black and some will go through what I experienced, but it all depends on how intensely you are playing fingerstyle and how much you're depending on having plastic glued on your nails and I was very dependent on it, I was over using the plastic glueing but I had no choice playing fingerstyle at a virtuoso level, yes! Very fast! Including 380BPM jazz be bop single notes fingerpicking and rasgueados.
Also the Arpegio glove is a technique booster for bass players, I also make a bass player's version.

Here you have it : 1) Never get a nail stuck on a string- 2) No fear of breaking nails  while playing- 3) No hassles and risks of skin infections with using glues and other chemicals by  the use of fake nails .
